Important Points 1 . Circles having the same centre and different radii are said to be concentric circle.

A chord
passing through a centre of the circle is Known as its diameter(diameter is a longest chord)
3 . The perpendicular from the centre
to a chord bisects the chord .
4 . Their is one and only one circle passing through three given points .
5 . Equal chords of a circle are equidistant from the center .
6 . Equal chords of a circle subtend equal angle
at the center .
7 . For any two chords of a circle the larger chord is nearer to the center .
8 . Angle in a
same segment of a circle are equal
9 . The angle in a semicircle is right angle
10 . If all vertices of a
quadrilateral lie on a circle then it is called a cyclic quadrilateral .
11 . The opposite angles of a cyclic
quadrilateral are supplimentary .
12 . An isoceles trapezium is cyclic (non parallel sides are equal then it is called
isoceles trapezium) .
