Solution.
A + B did 7/9 work, so C will complete 2/9 of the whole work.

(A + B)'s share : c' share = 7/9 : 2/9 = 7 : 2

Q3. A, B and C together earn Rs.1350 in 9 days . A and C together earn Rs.470 in 5 days. B and C together earn Rs.760 in 10 days. Find the daily earning of B .

Solution.
Daily earning od A+B+C =
Rs1350/9

Daily earning od A+C =
Rs470/5
= Rs 94 ------------(2)

Daily earning od B+C =
Rs760/10
= Rs 76 ------------(3)

From (1) and (2) daily earning of B = 150 - 94 = Rs. 56
